Attendees will learn about U.S. Department of Labor regulations such as the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. The experts will explain such topics as how to compute and pay wages properly, how to determine which employees are exempt from minimum wage or overtime, and how to maintain proper records.  Awareness of these topics will help employers lessen the chance for violations, penalties, and litigation.
